Worth the time and money

When I was a sales manager for a home builder, I was required to attend a weekend-long Bob Schultz seminar. I wasn't really thrilled to be there, but I do have to say that I learned a ton. They really do give quality sales training, although I will say that I disagree with some of their methods (one of which is to "inform" the potential home buyer all about the builder, the homes and the communities the moment they walk in the door--if that was me, I think I'd be so annoyed that I'd stop listening to the sales person!)

They do however, go through a whole personality profiling and follow up campaign which is very worth it. I was also very impressed that they wanted the sales managers to go back to their sales teams and practice training on a weekly basis. Their whole approach left nothing to chance, which I really liked.

If I owned a new home business, I would require that my sales people take this training. Oh! And the food that they serve is also A+ as is the hotel! :)
